First-Ever New Zealand Tour
Sublime
New Zealand Tour — April 2026
Formed in Long Beach, California in 1988, Sublime built one of the most beloved catalogues in American music — fusing ska, reggae, punk and hip-hop into a sound that felt effortless and alive. Their self-titled 1996 album sold over seven million copies and produced timeless anthems like What I Got, Santeria, and Wrong Way. Tragedy cut the original band short when frontman Bradley Nowell passed away just weeks before that album's release. In 2023, surviving members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh recruited Jakob Nowell — Bradley's son — to carry the torch, and the response has been extraordinary. This NZ tour is a landmark moment: Sublime have never performed in Aotearoa before. If their music has been part of your life, this one matters.

What to Expect
Sublime live is a full-summer experience packed into two hours. Expect the full catalogue — the reggae grooves of Santeria, the crowd-shaking riff of What I Got, and the chaotic energy of Date Rape and Caress Me Down. Jakob Nowell brings something genuinely emotional to the stage — the resemblance to his father is uncanny, and fans often say it's as close as they've ever felt to hearing Bradley again. It's both a celebration and a tribute. Wear what you wore to your first festival, bring your friends, and prepare to skank.

First NZ Arena Show in Nearly a Decade
Deftones
with Interpol & Ecca Vandal — May 2026
Formed in Sacramento, California in 1988, Deftones have spent nearly four decades carving out a sound that defies easy categorisation — part heavy metal, part dream pop, part cinematic atmosphere. Their Grammy-winning 2000 album White Pony is widely regarded as one of the greatest rock records ever made, and their catalogue — over ten million records sold, ten billion-plus streams — has shaped generations of musicians. In 2025 they released Private Music, their tenth album, to widespread acclaim. The Auckland show is their first NZ arena performance in nearly a decade, making this a genuinely rare opportunity. Joining them are post-punk legends Interpol (whose 2002 debut Turn On The Bright Lights remains a cornerstone of indie rock) and Ecca Vandal — the Melbourne-based genre-blender who has toured with Queens of the Stone Age and The Prodigy. The full lineup is one of the most intriguing pairings of the year. Buy official Deftones t-shirts on Teerex
